This guide covers the integration of Procountor with StatBun. There are two ways to set up the integration:
Method 1: Creating the integration with an API key.
Method 2: Creating the integration through authentication (recommended).
If you encounter issues when creating an API key or logging into Procountor with API credentials, please contact Procountor’s support team. You can find their contact information on the Procountor Support page.
Method 1: Creating the integration with an API key
Setting up the Procountor integration using an API key is described in detail in the Procountor guide: API Implementation (link opens in a new tab).
For specific instructions on generating an API key, refer to the section “Creating an API Key in Procountor” in the guide.
Once you have successfully created the API key, save it securely and follow the next steps in this guide.
After the API key is created
Once you have successfully created the API key, follow this guide.
1. If you are in the onboarding phase: During the onboarding process, when prompted to select a data source for integration, choose Procountor and enter your API key in the designated field.
Complete the onboarding process. StatBun will automatically fetch your company’s financial data and generate ready-made dashboards within minutes.
2. If you are already registered and logged into StatBun: Go to the top menu and navigate to: Marketplace → Integrations → Procountor.
Enter the API key in the designated field. Click “Save” and then "Activate".
Your integration is now complete!
Method 2: Creating the integration through authentication (recommended)
Alternatively, you can create the integration by authenticating with Procountor's API credentials. Authentication can be done either during the onboarding phase or after you have already registered and logged into StatBun.
We recommend this method because, if you already have Procountor API credentials, you only need to log in via the Procountor API login page and select StatBun as the target for the integration. This is a faster way to establish the connection between StatBun and Procountor.
If you don’t have Procountor API credentials, please create the integration using an API key (see Method 1).
1. If you are in the onboarding phase: During the integration setup step, select Procountor as the data source and click the “Authenticate” button.
The button will take you to Procountor’s API login page.
The process for creating an integration using API credentials in Procountor is described in Procountor’s guide: API Implementation in the section “Creating the API key on the API login page” (link opens in a new tab).
Follow the instructions provided in the guide.
Now the integration is complete! StatBun will automatically fetch your company’s financial data and generate ready-made dashboards within minutes.
2. If you are already registered and logged into StatBun: Navigate to: Marketplace → Integrations → Procountor in the top menu.
Click the “Authenticate” button.
The button will take you to Procountor’s API login page.
The process for creating an integration using API credentials in Procountor is described in Procountor’s guide: API Implementation in the section “Creating the API key on the API login page" (link opens in a new tab).
Follow the instructions provided in the guide.
Now the integration is complete!
Fetched data
Once the integration is complete, data will flow from Procountor to StatBun, but not from StatBun to Procountor.
The following information is retrieved from Procountor into StatBun:
- Accounting data
- Dimensions.
Upcoming additions to the integration include:
- Sales invoices, orders, and credit notes
- Sales and purchase payments
- Bank transfers
- Purchase invoices and suppliers
- Timesheets and travel expense claims.
By default, the settings are configured to retrieve data on a scheduled basis every night. StatBun will fetch data for the current fiscal year and the two previous full fiscal years.
You can adjust how frequently the data is retrieved and modify the synchronization period if needed.
