StatBun update 4/2025 – Improvements in reporting, budgeting, and integrations
The continuous development of StatBun aims to enable more efficient and versatile data-driven leadership for companies of all sizes, while also making everyday financial management smoother and more comprehensive.
In our latest update, we’ve introduced powerful new features and enhancements for reporting and budgeting, as well as significantly expanded integration support. At the same time, we’ve refined the user experience and improved overall system performance.

- Calculation tools and a formula editor for more flexible reporting

Smarter reporting – more insights, more tools
With the new sales and purchase ledger data, companies using the Financial Silver license can now analyze their transactions in greater detail, enabling more accurate cash flow monitoring. Initially available through the Netvisor integration, support for other accounting systems will follow soon.
We've also added much-requested calculation tools to reporting. Users can now perform basic calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) directly within the reporting view. The new formula editor enables custom formulas for tailored financial insights. This reduces the need for external tools and increases flexibility, allowing users to build custom financial metrics and KPIs directly into real-time reports.
Take control of visualization with the redesigned Widget Studio
The all-new Widget Studio lets users build and modify charts and tables more intuitively for their business dashboards. With visual widgets, performance indicators and key business metrics are easy to monitor and adjust to your company’s needs. The new widget styles also support percentage values with a separate scale, and the donut widget has been polished for a smoother user experience.
Precision and depth in data analysis with advanced drill-down
Drill-down tools now include row table filtering, enabling you to isolate specific periods, transactions, or dimensions for more detailed analysis. This makes it easier to uncover key insights. Additionally, attachments like financial events, invoices, and documents can now be opened directly in the system – initially with Netvisor, and soon with other accounting systems. You can fine-tune visualizations with widget-specific settings.
Smarter, more manageable budgeting
The budgeting module has received a major upgrade, making it easier to build dynamic financial models with more precision and less manual effort. A new dependency tool allows linking data points—for example, between different accounts—so changes in one dataset automatically update linked values. This enables more adaptive budgeting that responds to changing financial conditions.
We’ve also made several UI and settings enhancements that improve the usability of budgeting, forecasting, and cost allocation – making the whole process smoother and more intuitive.
Integrations – broader, deeper, and more powerful
StatBun now offers broader and fully automated support for various financial and HR systems. New integrations include:
- Talenom API – Access accounting data from Talenom
- eFina – Connect and utilize accounting data from eFina
- Visma eAccounting – Access data from Visma eAccounting
- Netvisor – Expanded support now includes HR data and sales/purchase ledgers, offering a more complete financial view
These enhancements allow companies to seamlessly connect critical data across systems in real-time – eliminating unnecessary manual input. This streamlines financial operations and improves reporting accuracy by pulling directly from reliable sources.
We’re also expanding support for sales and purchase ledger data in additional accounting systems in the near future.
User management and performance – improvements behind the scenes
As organizational needs vary, we’ve made role and permission management more flexible. You can now assign multiple roles to a user across different permission areas, improving flexibility, security, and control between teams and user groups.
We’ve also made major system performance optimizations. Data processing is now more efficient, making report generation faster and improving the overall user experience. Large datasets load more quickly, reducing wait times and enhancing responsiveness across the platform.
