If you’ve just started using StatBun and expected to see budget figures in your reports but the view is empty, it may be because you haven’t created your first budget yet, or the budget figures imported through your integration have not been transferred into the system.
If you have already created a budget, there are a few other things we recommend trying to resolve the situation.
Start by checking these common causes and solutions:
1. Check the budgets imported through the integration or create a new budget
If budget figures have been transferred to StatBun via an integration, you should see them under Plan → Budgeting → Budgets from integration.
If no budgets appear in this section, even though your integration supports importing them into StatBun, update the data manually in StatBun: Go to Marketplace → Integrations → select your software (for example, Maestro) → click "Run now".
If your source software does not support transferring budget figures through the integration, you will need to create your first budget.

2. The budget must be added to the correct budget slot
For budget figures to appear in reports, the budget must be assigned to the correct budget slot. Slots determine which budget is displayed in the widgets within your reports.
If you don’t see budget figures in your reports, check that the correct budget is linked to the desired reports using this guide from our Support Portal (opens in a new tab):

3. The view needs to be refreshed
Even if your budget is in the correct slot, the view may need a manual refresh before new data appears. Without refreshing, your browser’s cache may prevent updated information from showing.
Click your browser’s Refresh button or press F5 on your keyboard to reload the view.
Once you’ve gone through these steps, your budget figures should appear in reports and views as expected.
